My Ideal Politician

               Maria Rosa Vilma Tuazon Santos-Recto or known as Vilma Santos-Recto or Ate Vi is a multi-awarded actress and politician.She is known as the Star for all Seasons for her longevity in showbiz and holds the titles of Grand Slam Queen and as the longest box office queen of Philippine cinema. Ate Vi is also a politician, currently serving as Governor of Batanggas Province and once as mayor of Lipa City.

              In 1998, she entered politics and ran for mayor of Lipa City Batangas where she won three consecutive elections, becoming the city's first female mayor.

In 2005, the University of the Philippines or UP  conferred to her the GAWAS PLARIDEL AWARD for her achievements and contributions both as an actress and a public servant. In the same year she was conferred an honorary doctorate degree in humanities by the Lipa City College. She was again honored in 2006 by the University of the Philippines as one of the four awardees in UP's First Diwata Awards.

She is was proclaimed Governor-elect of the province of Batangas on May 21, 2007 after garnering 475,740 votes against Sanchez's 344,969 becoming the first female governor of the province of Batangas. Governor Santos-Recto was reelected Governor of Batangas during the May 2010 elections.

                 Despite of her busy Schedule, she has also time in her carrier as an  Actress, and also in her family, i like her because in there province she is good politicians, unlike other politicians who didn't know how to handle money, and corrupt. She is a Gods Fearing, and the people in Batanggas like her so much because of what  she did in there province.she is also an Most Trusted Individuals of 2010. Among the politicians, Senator Benigno Aquino III leads the most trusted leader followed by Lipa City Vilma Santos-Recto,Most Influential "...Vilma “Ate Vi” Santos-Recto - The popular governor of Batangas province reportedly turned down invitations for her to run as vice-president in the 2010 election and she switched from Lakas party to P-Noy’s Liberal Party in late 2009. She is former three-term mayor of Lipa City and the street-smart political partner of husband Senator Ralph Recto. When somebody asked if she plans to someday run for president of the Philippines, the multi-awarded film and TV actress said she never makes political plans and is “only concerned about doing a good job serving the people of Batangas as governor". thats why she is my favorite pilitician. i like her idea, serving others than doing by her herself make famous.

A Peaceful Election

           Whats in your mind when you hear election? Voting, right. But when you hear election in the Philippines? something scary...anyway yes more scary when you are involve to the politics, many died because of running to the election, but we all Citizens in this country and we have a right to choose the right one,then, how will you choose that right one? if there are people make some anumalis in the voting system. or on the day of election there are people that are very dishonest,, how can we prevent that?

              As  a Public Administration Student, as a 'Pag-asa ng bayan' and as a citizen in this country, i am so sensitive on many problem in the country because every individual involve on it, so why does we dont care on this problem? we are the voters, we are millions and billions than the one whose running for their own interest. We are the one giving there salary, then we are poor than them? why is it that they are getting richer after so many years in the position.We are important, we need to chose the right one.

 

 

 

          Election is coming, and the Gun ban ison going, but why it is that there are also many politicians in a future died  because of they are killed? in the 1st place while the election is coming their are many bad happened in our government, and how it will be when time of election? even if  the COMELEC are in-charge for the election process but it has also a anumalis inside the comelec.for me, even if every individual are in-charge to look back in our vote, we have also to watch out our Politicain before and after the election, we have a power to feel whom we will going to vote, we must to take a look for our votes. make some change even in one person but if we are all incapable and sensitive on our votes and on our politicians we can achieve the peaceful election in this 2013 election. 

         Yes, a PEACEFUL way, we can be successful to our election if we are more updated on whats going on in our country specially in our election time.. something happens good in our election, yes, in our election time there many police and other powerful man whose watching for our votes, but they are not looking for 1 man only. so EACH ONE OF US MUST BE WATCHING AND AWARE FOR WHAT DOES HAPPEN AFTER ALL.

my new years resolution

                                                  My New Years Resolution

In every new year, many people has a new years resolution,somehow, for me i am thinking a new year resolutions.what are the things i need to do for making my life better?  what was the best for me in this year? what should i do for making me more progressive ? 

That was the questions that i need to answer by doing my new years resolution for my own,

One of my new years resolution last year is not being late,  as the year go along, i would like to continue doing it, even if last year i achieve this resolution sometimes, i would like to continue doing that, and to success that resolution.

my second resolution for this year is to do all my works before the deadline for not making my life busy at the end and if last year i am not participating in every class/subject i have, now i would do better and i study harder than what I've done last year, my self confidence in every year is getting better, but i know my course is not suite for being shy person that is why i would like to do better to make my self confidence , have high grades.If last year i am just wasting money, for buying a none sense things, now i like to save money for the cause, this year my friends and i thinking a great idea for having a small business, i am hoping that we will start it as fast as we can., maybe after midterm we can start that business.

Yes, our grades in college is the key to our job, and every year, i am hoping a higher grade or not having a failing grade,, as much as possible i don't want to have a failing grade not only for this year but also for my remaining year in college.

And lastly is to be closer to GOD, if last year my spiritual body is thirsty to find god in my life, now i would like to be more closer to him, i would like to feel him into my life, every time i have a problem that is the time i  prayed for him, but now my new year resolution is an opposite situation I've done before.

why i choose BPA as my course?

Why did I choose BPA course?

I choose Bachelor of Public Administration because i like to be a politician someday just like my father,or a public servant.and also with the influence of him,he serve people, he is a former barangay captain, and i want to be like him, i like his job. even if he dont like me to be like him. iwant to serve and to continue what my fathers work, and even if i couln'd become a politician i can also be a government employed.

BPA is not an endemand course but i really want this course, yes in every subject we taking up we can apply this subject or lesson either if we become a Government emloyed,and if GOD didn't give me an oppurtunity to become a politician i would be a DSWD worker soon, As Public Adminidtration i would like to work in DSWD, thats my dream that after i graduate in BPA, i like to be a servant and to serve children who are abused by someone and also to take good care them. someday i will be a DSWD employee. 
If GOD give me an opportunity to be Public Servant i don't want to waste my time.
